Prices and growth
The new studio cost $95,000 last year, and the price rose by 3.5% this spring. A second plan costs €20 a month, while the team in London pays £3 million for the whole building. Our total revenue reached 1,234,567.89 dollars on 28/09/2026.
Mr. Smith met Dr. Jones at 10:30 to review the numbers, and they agreed to meet again at 09:05 the next morning. Prof. Brown joined them later, e.g. to explain the budget, i.e. where the money goes.
Why audio matters
Many readers prefer to listen. Some have low vision, some read slowly, and many simply want to keep going while they cook, drive or walk. A clear voice that reads every number correctly makes an article easier to follow, because a listener cannot glance back at a figure the way a reader can.
When a voice says ninety-five, zero zero zero instead of ninety-five thousand, the listener stops trusting the audio. The same is true for dates read with slashes, or for a sentence that ends in the middle because the voice thought the full stop after Mr. was the end of the sentence.
A longer section
This paragraph is here to make the post long enough that the audio is made in several parts. Each part is generated separately and then joined, so any silence at the start or end of a part becomes a pause in the middle of the article. The listener should hear one smooth recording, with no gaps where the parts meet, and the total length should match the sum of the parts.
We also want to check the U.S. spelling of initials, the version number 2.4.0 which must stay as it is, and a plain sentence without any numbers at all, so that the clean-up never changes ordinary text. Visitors should hear exactly what is written, read the way a person would read it aloud.
Finally, the report shows that 42 of 50 testers preferred the natural voice, and that the average article of 1,200 words now takes about 6.5 minutes to listen to. On 2026-10-07 the team shipped the second beta, etc. Thank you for testing.
